It's 2022 and time for the first update of the year! In this release we addressed full screen display issues with the new 2021 MacBook Pro 14" and 16" models. In addition, we addressed a crash on early versions of macOS 12, and fixed customer-reported smart card and folder redirection issues. Specifically, we handled scenarios where external monitors were positioned above the MacBook display. In this release we've addressed display configuration failures that occurred when using the 2021 MacBook Pro 14" and 16" models with multiple monitors. In this release we made some changes to improve the connection reliability for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) scenarios. Hid the "Import from Remote Desktop 8" option if there is no data to import Addressed an issue where the mapped hotkeys CMD+C, CMD+V, CMD+F didn't work in nested sessions Updated the client to terminate auto-reconnect if the session window is closed after waking from sleep Resolved an issue where the mouse cursor on a high DPI monitor is larger than a regular monitor Updated the client to trigger an auto-reconnect in AVD scenarios when a 0x3 error is generated by the Gateway Resolved discrepancies with the reporting of device physical width and height across Retina and non-Retina scenarios Fixed an issue that resulted in the Outlook client showing the incorrect time or time zone for certain calendar entries
The read-only column in the folder redirection selection UI has been resized to show the full column header Added support for eTags in AVD workspace refresh scenarios to improve sync times Support for the in-session redirection of PIV smart cards (such as Yubikey) A custom app switcher which spans multiple sessions for RemoteApp scenarios (triggered by Option+Tab) Improved diagnostic error reporting for AAD authentication failures in Azure Virtual Desktop scenarios Fixed a deadlock in the client logging infrastructure Provided functionality to reset all the subscribed AVD workspaces (Help > Troubleshooting > Reset AVD Subscriptions) Integrated logging support that was previously only accessible with user defaults to the UI (Help > Troubleshooting > Logging)
